Lower Marsh Creek or “Sanders'” burying ground, is located near the junction of Big and Little Marsh Creeks, in Highland Twp. The first burials date back to 1749, and the names of the aged people whose remains lie in the Lower Marsh Creek, or “Sanders’ Cemetery,” together with the dates of death, are given as follows:
