Married on the 11th inst., by the Rev. Mr. German, Mr. Peter Romig, to Miss Sarah Ann Keck, both of Salsburg.
Married on the 16th instant, by the Rev. Mr. German, Mr. Henry Rickert, to Miss Levina Nagle, both of Lower Macungy.
Married on the 29th November, by the Rev. Mr. Dubs, Mr. Daniel Kerschner, to Miss Deborah Henry, both of South Whitehall.
Married on the 4th December, by the Rev. Mr. Dubs, Mr. Michael Minnich to Miss Elizabeth Neuhard, both of South Whitehall.
Married on the 11th December, by the Rev. Mr. Dubs, Mr. Evan Strouss, to Miss Floranda Larosh, both of South Whitehall.
Married on the 11th December, by the Rev. Mr. Dubs, David Best, of Lehigh, to Miss Elizabeth Sheidy, of North Whitehall.
Married on the 14th December, by the Rev. Mr. Dubs, Mr. Tilghman Knecht, to Miss Issabella Rebecca Brader, both of Allentown.
Died on Monday evening, at 11 o’clock, in this Borough, of consumption, Mr. Peter Leisenring, aged 37 years.
He left a widow and 6 children to mourn the loss of a kind husband and an affectionate father. His remains were deposited in the cool bowels of the earth on Wednesday following, attended by a large concourse of relations, and friends, and finally the Society of Odd Fellows, of which he was one of the Fathers, paid their last respect of honor in very large numbers.
Died (date unreadable) after a twelve hour attack of Cramp in the stomach, Aaron Romig, aged 31 years. He was a young man beloved and respected by all who knew him
Died on the 11th December, in South Whitehall, of consumption, Isaac Raub, aged 34 years.
Died on the 30th November, in East Allentown, of Bronchitas, Uria Jacoby, aged 21 years.
Died on the 5th December, in Allentown, William F. son of Charles and Matilda Sasaman, aged 4 months.
