JAN. 18, 1849

Notice that the Partnership of the late firm of Selfridge & Wilson, has been dissolved.

Died. On the 16th instant, at Easton, of old age, Col. Christian Jacob Hutter, for many years a resident of that place, and formerly editor and proprietor of the Easton Sentinel, and Northampton Correspondent, aged seventy nine years.
Died. On the 12th instant, in Bethlehem township, Elizabeth Freeman, wife of Mr. John Freeman, aged 58.
Died. On the 14th instant, in this Borough, Madison Breinig, infant son of Benjamin and Eliza Stettler, aged 9 months.
Died. On Saturday morning last, in Upper Macungy township, of inflammation of the brain, James Ewing, son of Willaim and Deborah Haintz, aged 4 years.
Died on Monday last, in East Allentown, of dropsy in the chest, Benjamin Halbuch, a highly respectable young man in the prime of his life, aged 20 years.

Married. On the 24th of December, by the Rev. Mr. Becker, Mr. John H. Laubach, to Miss C. Ruch, both of Lower Saucon.
Married on the 29th of December, by the Rev. S. C. Herman, Mr. Zacharias Wagner, of Upper Milford, Lehigh county, to Miss Anna Smith, of Washington, Berks county.
