Married on the 3rd of July, by the Rev. Mr. Yaeger, Mr. David Young, to Miss Maria Pflieger, both of Upper Saucon.
Married on the 8th instant, by the same, Mr. Edwin Sigfried, of Nazareth, to Miss Lustiann German, of Hanover.
Married on the same day, by the same, Mr. Jacob F. Haller, to Miss Maria M. Gullmeyer, both of Hanover.
Married on the 3rd of July, by the Rev. Mr. Roeller, Mr. Reuben Gernert, to Miss Eliza Hinkle, both of Macungy.
Married on the 17th of May, by the Rev. Mr. German, Mr. John Bastian, to Miss Mary Ann Kerchner, both of Macungy.
Married on the 1st of June, by the same, Mr. David Schneider, to Miss Catharine Mohnr, both of Upper Milford.
Married on Sunday last, by the Rev. Mr. Dubs, Mr. Thomas Troxel, of South Whitehall, to Miss Rebecca Reit, of North Whitehall.
Married on the 30th of June, by the Rev. G. A. Wenzel, Mr. Charles A. Heckman, of Easton, to Miss Eliza Craig, daughter of Thomas Craig, Esq., of Lehigh Gap.
Married on the 21st of June, by the Rev. Mr. S. Rienke, Rev. Mr. Amandeus A. Rienke, to Miss Ellen E. Rice, daughter of Mr. Jacob Rice, both of Bethlehem.

Died on the 6th instant, in Washington township, Stephen Rex, aged 22 years.
Died on the same day, in South Whitehall, Mrs. Maria; wife of Solomon Hoffman, aged 23 years.
Died on the 7th instant, in Allentown, of paralysis, Mrs. Sarah, wife of Valentine Klader, aged 48 years.
Died on the 2nd of July, at Bethlehem, suddenly, Dr. Edward Rice, son of Owen Rice, Esq.,  The deceased was distinguished for his high mental endowments and many special qualities.  He was engaged as Professor in the Theological Seminary at Bethlehem, which institution has sustained a great loss in his early death.
Died on the 30th of June, in Upper Macungy, Jacob Fahringer, aged 47 years.
Died on the 25th of June, in Philadelphia, Sarah Ann, consort of Mr. James Schmidt, aged 30 years.
Died on the 27th of June, in the Lehigh County Poor House, Mr. Adam Lehr, aged 71 years.
Died on 14th of June, in Salsburg, Martin, son of Martin Kemmerer, Esq., aged 2 months.
