LEHIGH REGISTER,  Allentown, Lehigh County, Pa

MARCH 22, 1849

Married on the 11th of March, by the Rev. Mr. Dubs, Mr. John Rockel, to Miss Maria Oberholzer, both of Washington.
Married on the 18th instant, by the same, Mr. Edward Frankenfield, to Miss Hannah Hammel, both of South Whitehall.
Married on the 10th instant, by the Rev. J. W. Richards, Mr. John Schmoll to Miss Carolina Schmidt, all of Bethlehem.

Died on the 16th instant, in Allentown, Ellen Jane, infant daugher of Henry and Sarah Miller, aged 4 months.
Died on the 15th instant, in Allentown, Allen David, infant son of William and Sarah Ruhe, aged 2 months.
Died on the 8th instant, in Allentown, Allen Jeremiah, infant son of Henry and Henrietta Ritter, aged 7 months.

Centennerian  who recently died near Montrose, pa., named John Adams, was aged 104 years, and a soldier in the Revolution.  He was from Massachusetts, and is said to have been related to the two Presidents of his name, as well as to their antipode, Ex-Governor Hill, of New Hampshire.  He possessed much talent for writing, even since he has passed his hundreth year.
