On Tuesday of last week, the first locomotive made the through trip, by rail from Reading to Lebanon.  The locomotive was the “New England,” and under charge of Division Engineer Mr. Edw. Muhlenberg.

Married on the 5th inst., by Rev. H. S. Miller, Mr. John Scheetz to Susan Matilda Wolf, both of Lebanon.

Married on the 20th ult., by Rev. Gring, Mr. Henry Dollum to Sarah Eberly, both of Jackson.

Married on the 2d inst., by Rev. J. Y. Ashton, Mr. Benewell Steffy, to Miss Anna Seider, both of Lebanon county.

Died on the 2d inst., in North Lebanon, Mr. Jacob Braudt, aged 45 years, 7 months and 22 days.

Died on Wednesday, June 24, in Dayton, Ohio, Wm. McCauly, formerly of Lebanon, aged 40 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Died on the 24th ult., in North Lebanon township, John, son of Jacob and Eliza Gackley, aged 1 year, 2 months and 13 days.

Died on the 24th ult., in Fredericksburg, Elizabeth Wagner, widow of John Wagner, dec’d., aged about 57 years.
