A Native Volcano. – In the Broad Mountain of the Schuylkill coal region, a subterraneous vein of Coal has been burning for twenty years.
The Rolling Mill of the Cambria Iron Company was entirely destroyed by fire, on the 1st inst. The loss is about $60,000. It will be immediately rebuilt.
A little boy belonging to Levi Care, of this borough, was lost on Monday evening. Bells were rang and a general search instituted. Near midnight he was found on the garret of his parent’s house, in a meal box, sound asleep.
Married on the 6th inst., by the Rev. Aug. C. Wedekind, Mr. James Yocum, of North Lebanon, to Miss Sarah Light, of South Lebanon.
Married on the 9th inst., by the Rev. Aug. C. Wedekind, Mr. Franklin G. Bemenderfer to Miss Amanda H. Murdock, both of Shaeffers’n.
Married on the 23d ult., Mr. William Kease of Harrisburg, to Miss Willmina Walborn, of Fredericksburg, Lebanon county.
Married on the 12th ult., by Rev. Mr. Hiester, Mr. John Rudy, to Miss Sarah Ann Ault, both of Annville.
Married on the 5th inst., by the Rev. H. S. Miller, Mr. David Hughes, of Robinsonia, to Angelina Zweitzig, of Leb’n.
Died on the 18th ult., in Londonderry, George Hemperly, aged 90 years and 3 days.
Died on the 20th ult., in Annville, Lewis, son of Chas. And Mary B. Killinger, aged 1 yr., 1 mo.
Died on the 7th inst., in N. Annville, Catharine, wife of David Heilman, aged 73 years, 2 months and 25 days.
