There is a widow lady in Philadelphia who has 25 children, all living at home and none of them married. – Not much danger of her re-marrying unless her fortune is proportionably as large as the number of her children.

Boy in A Well. – Lucky Escape. – In Maidencreek township Berks county, on Sunday last, a boy named Washington Stout, ten years of age, fell headforemost into a well 45 feet deep, with 7 feet of water in it.  Help was fortunately near at hand, and he was drawn out in a bucket, with no injury save two slight scars.  It was almost a miracle that he was not drowned, or killed by striking against the wall of the well.

The estate of Adam Zeller, dec’d., in Swatara township, was sold on Saturday a week, as follows: – 1 farm of  acres to Levi Wolf, at $113 per acre.   1 Farm of 113 acres to Levi Wenger at $120 per acre.

Moses Steiner sold a tract of land, containing 18 acres and buildings, in Jackson township, to Amos Ritter, of N. Lebanon township, for $2300.

Jacob Spannuth sold 27 acres of land and buildings, in Jackson township, to Moses Steiner, for $2800.

Mr. Felix Light, jr., of South Annville, sold his plantation containing 115 acres, to Michael Dutweiler, of the same township, at $100 per acre.

Mr. John Hagerty has sold three lots in Light’s Addition, North Lebanon, to Messrs. Funk, for $600.  The lots are 56 by 163 feet in size.

Married on the 24th ult., by Rev. J. E. Hiester, Mr. Joseph Lesley, of Annville, to Miss Catharine Rank, of Belleview.

Married on the 17th inst., by Rev. Th. Wunderling, Mr. Charles Klump to Miss Caroline Miller, both of Lebanon.

Married on the 17th inst., by Rev. F. W. Kremer, Mr. John H. Uhler to Miss Kate Kitzmiller, both of this borough.

Died on the 12th inst., in Belleview, Sarah S. Schneder, wife of Esiah Schneder, aged 38 years, 8 mo. and 8 days.

Died on the 27th ult., in Belleview, Aaron, infant son of Esiah and Sarah S. Schneder, aged 8 mo. and 10 days.

Died on the 11th inst., in North Lebanon, Mrs. Catharine, wife of Joseph H. Blauch, aged about 31 years.

Died on the 15th inst., in North Lebanon, Mr. Jacob Reifein, aged about 50 years.

Died on the 17th inst., in the Lebanon County Alms House, Heinrich Nabecker, aged 96 years.  The deceased was born in Switzerland, and emigrated to this country about 60 years ago.
