REVOLUTIONARY RECORDS

SETH OAKS, born 1733, died Townshend, Vt., 1810, married Elizabeth Shevalley, 1757. Sergeant in Capt. Silas Brown’s Company at the Lexington

WAITSTILL AVERY, born 1741, in Conn., died 1821, Burke Co., N. C. ; married Leah Franks ; was a member of the Provincial Congress.

JAMES JOHNSTON, born 1742, Tryon Co., N. C, died 1805 Lincoln Co., N. C, married Jane Ewart. He was a Captain at King’s Mountain and became a Colonel.

WILLIAM DAVIDSON, born 1750, Lancaster Co., Pa., died 1809, Buncombe Co., N. C, married Margaret McConnell. Served in North Carolina Militia as Lieutenant and Major.

JOHN HARDIN, born 1753, Fauquier Co., Va., killed by Indians 1792, married Jane Davis. Served at the siege of Boston and at Saratoga.

MEDAD BOSTWICK, born 1769, Danbury, Conn., died 1841, Brady’s Bend, Pa., married Mary W. Craig. Served as a fifer in Col. Benj. Hinman’s Regiment.

FREDERICK TILLMAN, born 1755, died 1809, in South Carolina, married Annabelle Miller. Served as a private with South Carolina troops.

ELIJAH CUSHING, born 1726, Pembroke, Mass., died 1807, Hanson, Mass., married Elizabeth Barstow. Commanded a company of minute men at the Lexington alarm.

CEPHAS SHELDON, born Deerfield, Vt., 1754, died Waterbnry, Vt., 1848, married Mehitable Burke. Served in the Massachusetts state troops.

NICHOLAS HOBBS, born 1747, died 1793, in Maryland; married Elizabeth Cumming. Served in the Maryland militia 1776.

ROBERT HARVEY, born 1753, East Haddam, Conn., died 1840, Herkimer Co., N. Y. ; married Aseneth Cone. Served as a private in the Connecticut militia.
