Stoystown Lodge, No. 372, I.O.O.F., was instituted on October 3, 1849. The chartered members were:

This old lodge is still flourishing, and at present has a membership of forty. The financial standing of the lodge is as follows: Money invested, eight hundred and thirty-one dollars; regalia and furniture, five hundred and sixty dollars.
