Graef’s Evangelical Lutheran church was organized with twenty-four members on May 24, 1871, by Rev. J. Tomlinson.

Rev. J. K. Bricker, the first pastor, was succeeded by:

The church was erected in 1871 at a cost of sixteen hundred and fifty dollars. There are at present ninety- nine church members and eighty sabbath- school scholars.
