The Pennsylvania Department of Health, Vital Records has posted on-line the Birth Indices for the year 1906 and the Death Indices for the years 1906-1961.
The Birth Indices includes the name, Mothers maiden name and first initial and the place of birth.
The Death Indices includes the name, age, date of death and the place of death.
