Miss Carol E. Ballentine, of North Pickering Street, Brookville, died Saturday, July 8, 1984, in the Brookville Hospital. She was 44 years old.
Friends will be received after 2 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Donald C. Galbraith Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2: 30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Bernard L. Shuey will officiate and interment will follow in Laketown Memorial Park in Reynoldsville.
Miss Ballentine was born July 21, 1939 in Summerville, the daughter of Richard W. and Catherine (Sebring) Ballentine.
A lab technician at the Brookville Hospital for 27 years, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Brookville.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ballentine of Brookville; two brothers, Richard W. Ballentine of Brookville and Robert L. Ballentine of Trumball, Connecticut; and one sister, Nancy Ballentine of Brookville. Also surviving are three nieces and three nephews.
