Richard
Levi Park, 69, Belgiumtown Road, Brookville died Monday, March 24, 2008 at
McKinley Health Center, Brookville.
Born
October 26, 1938, in the Stanton area, he was a son of the late Levi Elmer and
Alberta (Brosius) Park.
On
May 18, 1958, he married the former Janet L. Shaffer, who survives.
Richard
was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church.
He
served in the United States Army reserves for eight years.
He
was self employed and owned and operated Shaffer Home Improvements in
Brookville.
He
enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Sigel Sportsman Club.
In
addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Scott Park and wife Paula of
Emrickville, Jerry Park and wife Leslee of DuBois; two daughters, Lisa Wallock
and husband Tony of DuBois, and Betsy Hook and husband Andy of Brookville.
Three brothers, Donald L. Park and wife Fay of Corsica, William R. Park and
wife Arlene of St. Mary's, and A. Dean Park and wife Deborah of Brookville;
and a sister in law, Millie Park of Brookville, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral
services were private and were held at Brenda D. Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc.,
153 Jefferson Street, Brookville.
Interment
at St. John's Windy Hill Cemetery, Rose Township, Jefferson County.
