Asher E. Galbraith, 68,
5 Federal Street
died Monday at his home in Brookville.
Born November 16, 1939 in Brookville, he was the son of the
late Asher and Mary Galbraith. He was married to Doris D. Deemer Galbraith on
June 2, 1958, who preceded him in death on June 22, 2007.
Asher was a retired supervisor from Owens Illinois. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing and spending time with his
family.
He is survived by four sons, Douglas (Lorraine) Galbraith,
Manassas, VA; Ronald (Rene) Galbraith, Brookville; Randy (Sue) Galbraith,
Brookville; Rick (Carla) Galbraith, Sigel; one sister Barbara (Jim) O’Donnell,
eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 2-4 PM and
7-9 PM at the McKinney Funeral Home in
Brookville,
Pa.
Service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:00
AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville, Pa.
with the Rev. Joseph Staszewski presiding.
Burial will be at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rose township,
Jefferson County,
Pa.
Memorials can be made to the Brookville YMCA.
