Charles "Chuck" Keough Jr., 73, Rose Street , Brookville, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Brookville Hospital , Brookville.

Born Feb. 6, 1939, in Brookville, he was a son of the late Charles "Chap" Keough and Vesta Ames Keough.

He was married to Barbara Crawford June 4, 1956, in Brookville. She survives.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired as a sales representative from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and previously worked for Crawford Drilling Company in Brookville.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Brookville.

He is survived by two sons, David (Elizabeth) Keough of Granger, Ind., and Christopher (Nancy) Keough of Mayport; one daughter, Kathy (Rodney) Burns of Kittanning; one brother, Richard (Joyce) Keough of Batavia, Ohio; two sisters, Pearle Pence of Brookville and Linda (Pat) Grundy of Mercer; nine grandchildren: Dan, Chris, Ryan, Jason, Jena, Brendan, and Katelyn Keough, and Andrea and Erin Burns; and two step grandchildren, Joleen and Bill Reitz.

He was preceded in death by one son, Mike Keough and one sister, Julia Henry.

Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. Friday at McKinney Funeral Home, Brookville. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mick Chittester officiating. Burial will be in Langville Cemetery , Beaver Township , Jefferson County .
