The Rev. Donald C. Main of
Sand Spur Drive
, Lewisberry, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1988, at the age of 48.
He was a graduate of
Clarion
University
and the Winebrenner Theological Seminary,
Findlay
,
OH
. He had served the Grange, Celina, Pleasantview,
Mt.
Carmel, Brackenridge, Lillyville and Mechanicsburg Churches of God and the
Belmont, OH, United Methodist Church.
He was married to the former Katy Aharrah, who survives as
do two daughters, Julie K. Belt of York County and Gretchen D. at home; his
mother, Edna J. Main of Emerickville; two brothers, William A. Main of DuBois
and Clarence E. Main of Brookville; one sister, Helen Straitiff of Sigel and one
grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father, William W. Main of
Emerickville.
Funeral services were held in the Mechanicsburg Church of
God on Friday and the Lillyville Church of God on Saturday. Interment was in the
Emerickville
Methodist
Cemetery.
