Hawley L. Travis of RD 2, Portland Mills, died Monday,
January 17, 2000 at the
Brookville
Hospital
. He was 61 years of age.
Mr. Travis was born on February 13, 1938, in
Polk
Township
. He was the son of Jesse J. and Twila Mae (Wingert) Travis.
He was a farmer and a bus driver for the
Brookville
Area
School District
for over 35 years.
Survivors include: three brothers, Blair H., William D. and
Lester C. Travis, all of Munderf; two sisters, Ethel Haag of
Punxsutawney
and Eileen Kelsey of Brockport; two nieces and three great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by: his parents and three
brothers; Kenneth J., Max L. and Lenneth J. (Jim) Travis.
Visitation at the McKinney Funeral Home will be on
Thursday, January 29 from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held
Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the
Munderf
Cemetery
in
Polk
Township
. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
