- Looking for any information on the family members mentioned above. Martha Howell Russell, wife of Edward Russell. Children of Martha and Edward were John and David T. Russell. My Grandfather, was John Russell and he was married to Elizabeth Williams. The family came from Wales and lived in Appollo at least until 1905. I have no idea when they came to the United States. They had 3 sons, Edward, John Alfred, and David Russell. Those 3 sons were born in Appollo Penna. They moved to Pittsburgh from Appollo. Any information would be helpful..

- I am looking for information on William McDonald (16 Oct,1827-7 Aug, 1898. He supposedly was born in Cumberland Co.,Pa ( not verified) . his father died before he was born and he was raised by maternal Grandfather. Then lived in Madison twp.,Armstrong Co. 1850 census lists him as William McDonnell. He had a brother John. Married Mary "Polly" Wolfe (17 Dec. 1827- 4 Dec. 1895). Need help. Also, I can find nothing on the McCafferty line. James McCafferty married Mary McDonald. They had a daughter Verdie. Mary died when Verdie was very young. She was then raised by the McDonald's, a family named Bish, and finally lived with her Uncle Tom McDonald until she married Mead Willison. I can find nothing on the McCafferty line. - Looking for parents of Sarah Walters born 12 Apr 1835 in Pennsylvania, possibly Armstrong County, PA but not sure of County. She died 17 Feb 1881 at Lizton, in Hendricks County, Indiana and married Reuben Scott there in 1854. I have searched the census in 1850 but do not find her listed here with any family. - I am seeking information about Rudolph Buzzard who came to this country from Alsace-Lorraine, France and any of his descendants . He married there, came to the U.S. His wife died and was buried at sea. He apparently lived in Fosters Mills in1862 and1870. Before that time he may have lived in Indiana, PA, Allegheny Co. Rudolph re-married Margaret Acre. (After Rudolph died, his widow married a Staley.) Rudolph and Margaret had 2 children: *Sally Buzzard, who married a Nevergold, then a Miller. She had a daughter who married Peter Tesch and owned Herr's Island in Pittsburgh. *John Edgar Buzzard, Sr. was born 6/27/1825 in Dorseyville He married Catherine Anastasia Stewart on 7/11/1846 in Bakerstown, Allegheny County, PA. He died 6/6/1910 and was buried in Oakmont Cemetery. John E. Buzzard, Sr. and Catherine had 11 children: Annie (m. Collins), Emma (m. Whren, then Adams), Mary L., Marian A., Ida (d. At birth), Ida (m. McKee), Carrie (m. Templeton), Katherine (m. Berry), Bertha (m. Pyle), John E., Jr. (m. Dora Burford), and Harry E. (my grandfather) (m. Margaret Belle Smith). The only male children of JEB, Sr. were John E. Jr. and my grandfather, Harry E. Buzzard. John E. Buzzard, Jr. had a son Charles and a daughter, Claire (m. Taylor). I do not know if Charles was married or if he had children. John Edgar Buzzard, Jr. died 11/1/39 and was buried at Worthington Lutheran Cemetery in Armstrong County. Thank you, Lois Buzzard Stillman.

- I am researching the family of George PARSELL (b. appx 1837 in England). According to the 1880 census, he is listed in Brady Bend Twp. but in Clarion County. I know that a lot of the county borders changed a lot in that area during that time. I believe that George was married to Anne JONES. - I am searching for information on John HANEY who died in Freeport, Armstrong County on Feb. 19, 1886 He was born on July 8, 1809 in Latrobe, Westmoreland County. His wife was Elizabeth HOOVER from Freeport. This couple had three sons and four daughters. This family made their home in Freeport for many years. John Haney was reported to have been a pilot on river boats that traveled the Ohio and Mississippi rivers to New Orleans. Does any one have information concerning this man , his wife or offspring. - Five BISH brothers came from Adams Co., PA to Armstrong Co., PA between 1808-1820. They were: John Bish, born 1772; Peter Bish born 1774; Jacob Bish born 1776; Philip Bish born 1782; and George Bish born 1784. Most of them lived in Madison Twp., Armstrong Co., PA, but Jacob and his family resided in Sugarcreek Twp until they moved to Butler County, PA. Some of George Bish's descendents lived in Paint Twp., Clarion Co. PA Have a large Bish database, but I am always looking for new family members. - I am looking for information on the family of Jacob R. MYERS and Adalade and then Martha BLAKE. They lived in Armstrong County in the Dayton area. Jacob was born in 1824 in "Eastern PA" and Adalade was born in 1831. Martha was her younger sister and died in 1889. They had several children, including Henry Myers, born 1853.
