Smouse Farm Family Cemetery

This cemetery is located on the side of a hill on the north side of Ashcom Rd., at the end of a dirt-covered access road, which is approx. 268 feet long. The cemetery plot is situated approx. midway between the New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co., Inc. and the Pa. Turnpike overpass in Snake Spring Twp., Bedford Co., Pa. It is rectangular in shape and about 70 1/2 feet long and 66 1/2 feet wide.

The headstones are in rows from the north to the south, across the width of the cemetery plot. Most of the headstones face the east. One footstone had no headstone and said “W N 1856”.
