Mt. Pleasant: (near Millerstown) was organized in 1873. The members
originally belonged to the Zion German Reformed Church, known as the Hickory
Bottom Church, in Bedford County. In 1853 they organized a community Sunday
school in Millerstown, from which evolved the present Mt. Pleasant Reformed
Church.
