GRUBB(S) - GRAHAM - SLEASE I am in desperate need of informtion on the above surnames in Armstrong Co., Bedford Co., and Indiana Co., PA. My ancestor was WILLIAM GRAHAM, who with his wife, PRUDENCE GREEN (GETTY) GRAHAM lived much of his life in Armstrong and Indiana Co.'s. Related Grahams (believed to have been his brothers) ANDREW, JAMES, IRWIN, JOSEPH GRAHAM. Most of these Grahams are buried in Whitesburg, Armstrong Co.,PA JANE GRAHAM, daughter of William and Prudence, gave birth to a son(GEORGE WASHINGTON GRUBB(S) in 1845. The father was said to be JACOB GRUBB(S). I have had no luck finding any trace of Jacob in Armstrong and Indiana Cos. Next point to research is Bedford Co. Also trying to find the connection between SAMUEL SLEASE (buried in Armstrong Co.) to the Grubbs. Family stories tell of possible Indian & Black bloodlines but unknown if there is any truth to this. Any and all help is sincerely appreciated and needed badly.Ralph J. GamesThu, 30 Oct 1997
