- I'm trying to locate my grandmothers family! Her Mother was Rebecca (Ickes) Johnson. All I have is that her father ? witch I belive to be James.M died when she was young and mother took her and 2 brothers to Blair Co. around 1926-1930? Any help greatly appriciated! Oh yes Granmothers name is Alice Eva Flosena (Johnson)Locke Born on Jan.25,1917 In Benezette,Pa Brothers were Oscar and Arthur ? PLEASE HELP !

- I have a copy of a Certicate of Death for Josiah McManigal b. April 5, 1845 in Sallberg, PA d. December 1, 1935 in Ridway, Elk County, PA. Father is listed as William McManigal, mother unknown. He was a Railroad Conductor. His wife was listed as Nancy Jane McManigal. He was buried at North Bend Cemetery, North Bend, PA. I am trying to locate this family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

- I've been told that the Elk County Cemetery book lists Ira S. NIPPES 1886-1967 and Ella P. NIPPES 1891-1988. Does the Elk County Genealogical Society have an obituary index that would allow me to get obituaries for this couple, especially for Ella, who died in 1988? A relative in Sweden is looking for information about her and her descendants.I will be happy to pay a small fee for copies of the obits for this couple.

- Searching for any and all ancestors of Enrico AGOSTI, Romeo AGOSTI, and Carlo AGOSTI. They were brothers who immigrated from Italy in the late 1800s to 1890s and settled initially in Coal Hollow, Fox Twp. of Elk Co., PA and worked as coal miners. Carlo and Romeo AGOSTI later moved to Michigan after 1920. Enrico moved to Force, Jay Twp., Elk Co. and had many children. Some stayed in the area, while others have moved throughout the county. I have a lot of information on the descendents of Enrico AGOSTI, but am looking to fill in loose ends. Some of the children of Enrico married families with the last names of MONTI, BRONZO, OSTI, MAJCHRZAK, BENEVICH AND FLORAVITO. Anyone interested or connected to these families, please contact me.

- I am searching for information on George R. Bushey, DOB 10 Jan 1890 in Weedville, Elk Co., PA. Parents were Alexander Bushey and Maria Lillie Turley. George was married to Doris O'Connor - he died in 1951 and is buried in Elk County. Alexander And Maria Lillie are buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Byrnedale, Elk Co. Thanks.

- I'm seeking information on my grandparents, John and Cath. (Kloh) Fean, who lived in Johnson- burg, PA Elk Co. from 1890 to 1901. They were the parents of five children, four of whom were born in Johnsonburg. Grandfather John b.1859 in Ireland, his wife Cath. b.1864 in Philadelphia, PA. John was a papermaker by trade. If anyone knows of this family, I would appreciate hearing from yhou.

- Searching for any information concerning CATHOLIC church birth or CHRISTENING records in or near ST. MARYS CITY in ELK county for CORNELIUS DENEEN, b. 17 Jan 1892(according to NY Death Certificate), parents: Cornelius Deneen and Ellen Mary Curry. Father was a 'Trainman' according to side notes on his daughter's birth certificate. These folks eventually ended up in Olean and then Buffalo, NY.
