- KAYLOR, SHAFFER posted by Lila Kaylor on Sunday, March 9, 1997
- I am seeking information on a KAYLOR family that may have lived in theBrookville area. The name of the family is Henry and Rebecca KAYLOR. Ibelieve their son Charles KAYLOR was born 14 miles from Brookville,Jefferson County, PA on 14 Feb 1835 or 38. I got this information fromhis Civil War Pension papers but have been unable to come up with anyother information. Daniel SHAFFER, born about 1850 was a cousin toCharles. The KAYLOR family moved to OH prior to the Civil War.
