- I am looking for information on SAXTON and MINNICH family from Jefferson County. My ggrandfather (given name, DOB and DOD not known to me at this time) SAXTON married Maude (?) MINNICH (where and when unknown also). They had three children, Wayne, who worked in the Silk Mill in Reynoldsville, and accidentally shot himself in the stomach with a .22 caliber rifle and died as a result of his wound; Lewis R. SAXTON, my grandfather, born 10-30-1910, died 6-14-1967, married to Ruth Florine WECKER, and Thelma SAXTON, married to Theodore WECKER (Ruth's Brother). I was told that my ggrandfather accidentally shot himself, or committed suicide with a shotgun in his living room. Maude then married James Gilbert MUSSER, and had four mor children with him, Melvin, Mildred Elizabeth, "Betty Jean" who died as a small child, and Max Ellwood. Any information on the SAXTON and/or MINNICH family in the Emerickville area would be greatly appreciated.
