POPOVICS (POPOVICH) - I am looking for any information on Johannes Popovics, my grandfather. I know he came to the U.S. from Hungary to Pa. in the early 1900s with at least two brothers and their families. He was supposed to have lived in Tipperary, Pa; but I can find no such place. He was killed along with one brother and a nephew sometime after 1915 by electrocution in a freak accident. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

FERMAN- Looking for any Fermans in Lancaster County. James Ferman was born in 1790 (possibly IRE?) and married Catherine (no maiden name know). They had 5 children- Margaret, James, Frank, George & William (b 23 Sep 1843 Lancaster, PA). The family left Lancaster in 1851 and went to Henry County, IL. James died there in 1871. George went back East, Margaret went to Iowa and James farmed in Henry County. FRank and William were druggists. This is not a common name.

Looking for info on John W. Myer who married Mary E. Fry,they lived in Lancaster prior to moving to Fl. in the early 1900s, their children were Rachel, John Jr, Joseph, Steven, Florence and Harold. I believe that the Myer homestead may still be standing in Lancaster,Pa. Other names that may aid in the search are Martin Fry, William Whistler and Elizabeth Buckwalter. Thanks for any help!!!
