Looking for the parents or siblings or anyone with a Thomas Boyd DUNBAR b. February 4, 1795 at Cove, Cumberland County d. June 4, 1883 Columbia, PA. Moved to Chester County at about 1800 and to Columbia, PA 1n 1818. On July 22, 1819 married Isabella CLARK b. ?, d. ?, she died a few years later. On June 14, 1825 married Elizabeth HENAGE b. ?, d. May 6, 1876. There are many BOYD's and DUNBAR's in Cumberland County at about this time. I can't seem to get the connection. Thanks.

I am in search of the family of Hans Jacob [Misemer] spelled 17 different ways - married to Catherine Mauck 3 Nov 1769 Montogomery, Co. PA - member of 10th Batt of Militia from Lancaster, PA - 1777 return of Batt shows him as 7th class private. 1790 census shows 9 children -2 females are born after 1790. The children may have spelled their last name differently - big problem. Also, Hans Jacob arrived on ship Crown 1749 with brothers - they too may have spelled their name differently. SNYDER Ludwick SNYDER was born in about 1770. His parents were born in Germany, as likely was he. They settled in Lancaster, Co., PA, where Ludwick was orphaned at some rather young age. His father may have been named Jacob, but that is conjecture. According to one source, Ludwick was related to a Jacob SNYDER who served in the Revolutionary War. CROCKETT, ROBINSON. In 1720's-1740's the Crockett's and Robinson's were neighbors in Lancaster County, PA before moving to Augusta County, VA- the part that became Botetourt and Montgomery Counties. In Augusta Court records, not only do they say they were neighbors, also seem to be 1/2 brother-sisters so an intermarriage took place in the generation before. William KIRKWOOD (the father) died in a few years and his widow married a Mr. IRWIN. After Mr. IRIWN died, the Mary KERNAHAN KIRKWOOD IRWIN moved to Fairfield Co., OH about 1820. Also moving to Ohio about the same time were her son Samuel and his family and her daughter Mary (who was married to a John WILLIAMS and living in Philadelphia) and her family. William KIRKWOOD (the son) (1782-1847) became a Quaker, married Rebecca COOPER (1777-1852)(dau. of John COOPER & Rebecca MOORE) and remained in the Sadsbury area. He had a son Mary (1814-1846) who married Moses MOORE, a son of Andrew MOORE & Ann WALKER. It is believed that Hugh KIRKWOOD died young. Would like to correspond with anyone who has knowledge of any of these people.

BRANDT, CRIM - I am looking for any information on Christian Brandt, born 24 Feb 1804 in Lancaster County. Parents names are unknown. He married Nancy CRIM on 17 March 1831 in Cumberland County. Two of their children died and are buried in PA. Elizabeth Ann Brandt died 13 July 1838 and Jacob Crim Brandt died 9 July 1838. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

I hope someone can help me with my elusive Levi MARSHALL. What I know is Levi was Married to Rebecca GARMAN. They had at least 2 daughters. Daughter (1) was Sophia Elizabeth MARSHALL b 1860 and she married Frank FLICKINGER and she died in 1936 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Daughter (2) was Lydia Ann MARSHALL b 1863 and she was married to Wm FLICKINGER and she died in 1936 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I have both daughters death certificates and the informant was Lydia Ann (MARSHALL) FLICKINGER for her sister Sophia Elizabeth. Therefore I am quite certain the parents are correct. However I am unable to find either Levi MARSHALL or Rebecca GARMAN. The death certificates list the place of birth as Pennsylvania and both girls married boys from Lancaster Co Pa. Has anyone out there seen my MARSHALL's?

LAUGHLIN I recently discovered that my Henry Laughlin may have lived in Lancaster Co in the late 1700's. Henry was born before 1765 and was married to Margaret (?). Their children were: 1. Henry md Sarah COCHRAN, d. in Jackson Co IL before 1814 2. Charles 3. John md. Rebecca WALKUP in Mercer Co KY in 1813 4. Isabelle md. William DOUGLASS in Madison Co KY in 1799 5. Sarah (b. abt 1786) md. John HENDERSON in Madison Co KY in 1809, d. in Boone Co MO, 1871. 6. Polly (Mary) md. Robert WALKUP in Madison Co KY in 1814, d. in Boone Co MO before 1833 7. maybe William In 1777, a Henry LAUGHLIN took the Oath of Allegiance and I presume he was in Lancaster Co PA at that time. Henry was in Madison Co KY by 1791 and died about 1812. Does anyone recognize this family? RHOADS - Looking for name of cemetery in which Henry Rhoads is buried in North Bend, Clinton county, Pa.I Thought maybe someone researching the Rhoads of Lancaster co may have this info. Henry Rhoads was born 1844 in Lancaster county served in the civil war Co. K 7th Pa Cal. moved to McElhattan, Clinton county, Died June 22, 1930 and is said to be buried somewhere in North Bend Pa.
