In the name of God amen I Isaac Stout of Williams Township in the
County of Northampton & state of Pennsylvania, yeoman, considering
the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound & perfect
mind and memory, blessed be God for the same, do make, publish and
declare this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following,
that is to say
First it is my will that all my just debts & funeral expenses be
fully paid & satisfied, as soon aft! er my decease as conveniently
can be
Item, I give and bequeath unto my son Jacob Stout, the sum of two
dollars lawfull money of the state of Pennsylvania
Item, I give and bequeath unto my son George Stout the sum of two
dollars, lawfull money of the state of Pennsylvania
Item, I give and bequeath unto my son Isaac Stout the sum of two
dollars, lawfull money of the state of Pennsylvania
Item, I give and bequeath unto my son Abraham Stout, the sum of
two dollars, lawfull money of the state of Pennsylvania
Item, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine the wife of
Henry Stover, the sum of one thousand, three hundred, thirty three
dollars & thirty three cents, like money as aforesaid
Item, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Barbara the wife of
Henry Stover, the sum of one thousand, three hundr! ed, thirty
three dollars & thirty three cents, like money as aforesaid
(including the sum of two hundred, sixty six dollars & sixty seven
cents which I have given to her in my life time, and which shall
be deducted, from the above sum
Item, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Magdalena, the wife of
David Lerch, the sum of one thousand, three hundred, thirty three
dollars & thirty three cents, like money as aforesaid (including
the sum of one hundred, fifty four dollars & sixty seven cents
which I have given to her in my life time, and which shall be
deducted, from the said sum
And further it is my Will and I do order my Executors hereinafter
named to place the sum of one thousand three hundred, thirty three
dollars and thirty three cents on Interest for the use of my
daughter Sussanna, upon landed security, and to pay the legal
interest thereof unto her annually during her natural life, and
after her dec! ease, the said sum shall be equally divided between
her children (if any) share & share alike, and in case my said
daughter Sussanna should die, not leaving issue, then in such
case, the aforesaid sum shall be equally divided amongst my seven
children to wit my sons, Jacob, George, Isaac, & Abraham, and my
daughters Catherine the wife of Henry Stover, Barbara the wife of
Henry Stover and Magdalena the wife of David Lerch, share & share
alike
Item, I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Barbara, the wife
of Robert Henry, the sum of three hundred dollars, lawfull money
of the state of Pennsylvania
Item, I give and bequeath unto my grandson Isaac Yerger the sum of
three hundred dollars, lawfull money as aforesaid
Item, I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Rebecca Yerger,
the sum of three hundred dollars, lawfull money as aforesaid, also
one bed bedstead & beddings valued! at thirty dollars, one cow, a
chest & a spinning wheel
And it is my will that the several legacies herein before
bequeathed shall be paid by my Executors, as the bonds become due
& payable or as soon as any money may be received by them or come
into their hands from my estate
And as to all the rest, residue & remainder of my estate real or
personal of what kind & nature soever, I give & bequeath the same
to my children to be equally divided between them, share & share
alike, to wit to my sons, Jacob, George, Isaac & Abraham & to my
daughters, Catherine the wife of Henry Stover, Barbara the wife of
Henry Stover, Magdalena the wife of David Lerch, and one share to
my grandchildren Barbara the wife of Robert Henry, Isaac Yerger &
Rebecca Yerger, share & share alike.
And lastly I do hereby nominate, constitute & appoint my two sons
George Stout and Is! aac Stout to be the Executors of this my last
Will & Testament, by me made, declaring this only to be my last
Will and Testament, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
& seal the tenth day of October, in the year of our Lord, one
thousand eight hundred & eighteen.
Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Isaac
Stout to be his last Will & Testament, in the presence of us who
have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence
and at the request of the testator.

Northampton County on the 6th day of August Anno D! omini 1821
before me Thomas Pomp, register for the Probate of Wills and
grantor Letters of Administration in and for the county of
Northampton, personally came Jacob Diemer and George Hess Junr.
Esquire, the subscribing witnesses to the preceding will, and
being duly sworn, according to law, did depose and say, that they
were present and saw and heard Isaac Stout, the testator, sign,
seal, publish, pronounce and declare the aforegoing instrument of
writing as and for his last will and testament, that at the time
of so doing he was of perfect, sound and disposing mind, memory
and understanding, to the best of their knowledge, information and
belief. And that they at his request and in his presence, and in
the presence of each other, signed the same as witnesses.
