Mustered into Company I, 106th Regiment PAVolunteers August 27, 1861.  Promoted to Sergeant, date unknown. Discharged on Surgeon's Certificate, April 16, 1864.

Applied for a pension June 30, 1880, ApplicationNo. 396,537, Certificate No. 1,001,575.  Died July 24, 1913 at Chicago,Ill.  His widow applied for a pension, Application No. 1,012,105,Certificate No. 768,177
