- Seeking information concerning JOHN CORSAW found in the 1850 Census Potter County (Colder Springs). His sons listed as PETER, ALAMSON, CHESTER L., H., AND D. Is this the same JOHN CORSAW that was married to RACHEL? Is JOHN CORSAW related to ABRAHAM AND JENNY CORSAW of Sweden, Potter County? IS JOHN CORSAW related to PETER CORSAW found in 1840 Mercer County Federal Census? PETER is father of LYDIA ANN CORSAW (married to Chauncey Moore in Wisconsin), DENNIS R. CORSAW (married to Caroline Smith in Wisconsin) and CHARLES D. CORSAW. Death certificate of LYDIA ANN CORSAW's husband indicates her last name was originally "DECOURSEY". DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SPELLING?
