- Looking for information on Jabez and Ormenda BECKWITH. They came to Potter County in fall of 1812. He died at at the home of Maj. Isaac Lyman 12 miles short of his destination. He was buried on the Mortimer Benson Farm. Jabez and Ormenda Beckwith came from Charlotte, Delewar Co. NY in 1812. I am also interesting in purchasing a copy of 'A Journey In Time 1811 -1986' Written by Harold F. Baker. Thank you for any help. I am interested in any Beckwiths descend from the above. Pat

- Searching for information on ancestors of Mertie Ella EISELMAN b.June 20, 1875 in Keating, Potter Co. Her Parents were Henry EISELMAN and Mary PARRA(PARRY?). Parents of Henry were Jacob EISELMAN and Julia CLARE. Parents of Mary were Joseph PARRA(PARRY?) and Julia Ann HULINGS. Any information on any of these individuals would be greatly appreciated.

Was married to Lucinda PANGBORN who died in Hector Apr 10, 1889. I need copy of cemetery records for both. Their son Truman m. Clarissa Barnes first. Have no info on Barnes family . (probably at Livingston Co., NY; to: Phebe BRIGGS - b. 1797 Springwater, Livingston Co., NY and d. Apr 18, 1884 Bingham, Potter Co., PA. Charles N. & Phebe - his wife had 3 children: William N. WOODS b. May 1815 n.f.i ; Charles "Gardner" WOODS b. May 17, 1823 NY (have conflicting years of birth) - m. Laura Jane MORRIS; Hannah Louisa WOODS - b. Aug 20, 1840 PA - m. as his 2nd. wife to Horace BURDICK. I believe Phebe's mother to be the same Hannah - whom I found in a newspaper marriage account in CTthat says that Hannah married 3 BRIGGS men - that all 3 served in the Revolutionary war, and gave Hannah's residence as Potter Co., PA -- if anyone knows anything about any of the above people let me know -- I am descended from Charles & Phebe two times and have been looking for information for 17 years.
