- BENTLEY posted by Angela Hensel on Thursday, November 6, 1997
- I was wondering if you could send me some information or tell me how to get information off the internet regarding Dr. BENTLEY, the man who supposedly spontaneously combusted. I know that his story was aired on unsolved mysteries years ago, but I could not find any information on it. I have told many of my friends about this and none of them believe me. Also any information on Elliot Ness living inCoudersport would be very helpful as well. Thank you for all of your help. Angela Hensel

- My gg-grandmother, Amanda E. BARNHART, was born 27 Jun 1854 in Galeton, Potter Co, PA. Her father was John H. BARNHART (b.17 Oct 1817, d. 18 May 1894). Her mother was Sarah HARRISON (b.17 May 1823, d.1904). They were married 18 Feb 1843 in Williamsport, PA. I fairly certain that John and Sarah died in Potter Co, but haven't been able to find out anything else about them.
