- My G-G-grandfater, Elias PRINDLE was listed in the Potter Co. Census for 1850, 1860 and 1880. Have not been able to locate him in the 1870 Census. Can anyone help? I believe he and either his wife or daughter are buried in the Shinglehouse Cemetery. The Cemetery records show that lot belonged to Prindle/Lund. Lunds are buried on on side of the Lot. Abram and Caroline A. Strate, daughter and son- in-law of Elias, are buried in the front of the lot and there are two spaces, unmarked, behind the Strate graves. I believe these are the Prindle graves. Anyone have any info about STRATE S, PRINDLE S, or Lunds. Thanks Paul R.L. Vance
