- I'am looking for any information on the CONVERSE or JEFFERS name. My grandfather was Clayton Converse, born and raised in Genesee. He married Margurite Jeffers. I know he had alot of brothers and sisters in the Genesee, Ulyesses area. I cannot seem to find ANY information, so anything anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

- HALLADAY, Joesph married Mary Martha STRONG, 3 July, 1856, Eulalia Township at her parents home. I am looking for more information on Mary's parents Orange W. STRONG and Margarette P. DINGMANN. Both are supposed to be buried near Coudersport and are believed to have lived to be 101 and 102 respectively. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

- I am looking for any information on a Julia CHANDLER, born about 1834 in Pa. She had a sister named Caroline born about 1830. Julia married Ira Bartholomew and lived in the Roulette, Pa. area. Her sister Caroline was married to a man by the name of Dingman prior to a marriage to a Frank Meacham. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

- WATTS,BEACH: George Henry Watts(b.1836), Civil War veteran, fell from a roof and was buried in Condesport(1880). He was married to Cynthia Lorinda Beach; she was from Potter or Tioga Co.--I think. Children were:Adah;Helena, married Peter J. Senesbaugh; Alida; Leon. Can anyone help me out here? Is this area anywhere near Knoxville? George Henry enlisted in Elmira, NY and his son was married in Elmira to a Valiard (There are no Valiards anywhere in the world!!)Is Elmira reasonably near? You can see I am at a loss. Thanks

- seeking information on the family of Samuel w. STONE. He had three sons Samuel Jr, who died in the civil War, william H. who lived in Michigan, and erastus H. all three were Civil war Veterans. Samuel Jr had one son William s. who was born after his father Died in the War. His mothers name was Phoebe Fair child.
