- MILLER, TOMB posted by Linda Valetta on Friday, October 13, 2000
- I have found Jonathan B. MILLER born Jan 29, 1857 married Margaret TOMB Sept 10, 1881 in Kraybill's Pine Creek Valley book. This John and Maggie Miller were the parents of my mother in law Minnie Miller. I have another sorce that tells me that this Jonathan lived in Kettle Creek. Can anyone help me with this line of Miller's. I have quite a few post cards written to Fannie Lupold mother of Margaret Tomb. If anyone is interested in this branch please let me know. Linda

- ABSON posted by David Andrews on Wednesday, November 22, 2000
- I am researching the ABSON family from Wakefield Yorkshire England And by chance I came upon the Potter County Bible entry of Edward Abson . It is difficult to recognise Edwards entry in the Wakefield Parish Register of births , because they only record the date of the christening . I suspect that his parents were Anthony and Maria Abson , who christened an Edward on 22 July 1827 . It is interesting to note that one of Edwards children is called Maria . Do you have any clues that would help my research ? I also noted that Anthony Abson died on 13 nov 1880 , could this have been a brother who also crossed the water ? kind regards .
