T. C. (Pat) Crownover
T.C. (Pat) Crownover, 63, Avonmore, RD 1, died Sunday May 9, 1971 at 4:30 p.m. at his home near Shady Plain. A son of George and Catherine Heilman Crownover, he was born April 18, 1908, in Bethel Twp., Armstrong County.
He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Brick Church. He was a self-employed farmer and a committeeman of Agway Inc. of Indiana and ASC Office in Kittanning. Mr. Crownover was a director of the Mutual Fire Insurance Co. of South Bend Township.
Surviving are three sons: Stanley Dean Crownover, Theodore Eugene Crownover and Thomas Homer Crownover, all of Avonmore RD 1; a daughter, Gaynal Arlene Crownover Rupert, Shelocta RD 1; 13 grandchildren; two brothers: Doran F. Crownover, Avonmore RD 1; Marlin R. Crownover, Spring Church Star Route; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Lottie) Riggle, Hyde Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen E. Riggle Crownover, on March 3, 1970, and a daughter, Theidora in 1930.
Friends are being received at the Clark Funeral Home, Elderton, today from 7-9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m with the Rev. Thomas Bukeholder officiating. Interment wil be in the Brick Church Cemetery.
Helen C. Crownover Helen L. Crownover, 60, , of Avonmore RD 1, died Tuesday, March 4, 1970, at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning. Born Sept. 7, 1909 in Burrell Twp., she was a daughter of Thomas F. and Edith Schaffer Riggle.
Mrs. Crownover was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church at Brick Church.
Surviving are her husband, T.C. Crownover; a daughter, Mrs. Orald (Gaynal) Rupert, Shelocta RD 1; three sons: Stanley Dean Croownover, Theodore E. Crownover and Thomas H. Crownover, all of Avonmore RD 1; a brother, Murray Riggle, Ford City RD 2; Mrs. Everett (Myrtle) Miller, Greensburg, and 14 grandchildren.
A daughter, Theidora, preceded her in death in 1930.
Friends will be received at the Wendell A Welch Funeral Home in Ford City o Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Burkeholder oficiating. Interment will be made in the Brick Church Cemetery.
Marlin Raymond Crownover Marlin Raymond Crownover, 72 of Shelocta RD1, died Thursday, April 14, 1983, at his home near South Bend. A son of George and Catherine Heilman Crownover, he was born Aug. 25, 1910, in Armstrong County.
Mr. Crownover was a member of the Plum Creek Church of the Brethern, and of the United Mine Workers Local 412. He was retired from R&P Coal Company and had been a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Balanche Keeler Crownover of Shelocta RD 1; a son, Donald L. Crownover of Kittanning RD 1; two daughters: Mrs. Charles (Louise) Jewart of Creekside RD 1, and Mrs. Ed (Charlotte) Ruffner of Shelocta RD 1; a sister, Lottie Riggle of Ford City RD 1; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two infants; a son, Wendell in March, 1977; one grandchild; six brothers: Harry Crownover, Ross Crownover, Hermon Crownover, Smith Crownover, Vernon Crownover and Theodore C. Crownover.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Clark Funeral Home, Elderton, where services will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Harold Kennepp will officiate. Interment will be in the Elderton Cemetery.
