Down the lane with jug in hand, When you hear the story you'll understand. LeJune was courting Ruth you see, Older folks knew just what was apt to be. Ruth could not resist her Junie, Especially when he played romantic tunie. So after a while when love grew stronger, They decided they could live apart no longer. So there came that special day-50 years ago, they say, Le June swept his bride away. How wonderful after 50 years to greet those lovebirds singing still. They've had their trials and their thrills; Passed through the valleys and climbed the hills. Now at the top, they still wont stop. . They keep right on loving, romancing like a couple of rabbits hop! hop! hop! So Ruth hang on to your LeJune. Romance right along with each new "Silvery Moon." If he goes to the Lake, his boat to float, Pretend you enjoy it and go and dote. Just like the years that have gone by Hold on to each other and reach for the sky. Along the way their lives were blessed. Two wonderful daughters--- two of the best. Carole and Susie, now they've both flown the nest.
