Thank you God for your servant Betty, she has only gone away. She heard her call from heaven, she could no longer stay. Perhaps within the heavenly choir, she already sings her part. Blending with the other voices singing "Oh Lord, my God, How Great Thou Art."Thank you God for your servant Betty, whom our Savior called away. The Lord knew that she was weary, so He led her into eternal day. Betty heard her Savior's call, 'twas like Divine Release. God called her and He took her home to the land of joy and peace.
Betty was a faithful servant of her Lord. She loved to come to church to hear God's Holy Word. Gospel music brought Betty joy and cheer . Gospel music made Betty feel that God was very near.
Betty was a faithful wife and mother, to her calling she was true. She was concerned for her children, her husband, and her beloved daddy too. She kept her faith in Jesus. Now her work on earth is thru.
She has earned her rest in heaven, Over there upon that blissful shore. For her loved ones, she'll be waiting. There'll be no parting evermore.
So now to all who loved Betty and held her friendship dear; The call to heaven is stronger, though we must linger here. May we all feel more committed to the path that we must trod. Like your servant Betty, may we reach the heavenly portals and look upon the face of God!
