89 years Harold walked this earth. He shared times of toil and pain and mirth. His good wife Ada went on before. She waits to greet him at the heavenly door!An active man, till sickness laid him low. Harold was faithful, to the church he'd always go. He listened to the sermons and offered up his prayer. It brought great comfort to his heart just to hear of Jesus' care.
Harold had a faithful friend- "Doc", He was always at his side. Harold kept cookies baked for "Doc". "Doc" was Harold's pride.
Harold loved his family that was very clear . He held them in his heart and to him each one was dear. So hold the memories of Harold in your heart, Remember that through Christ the Lord you're never far apart.
Harold made a good confession. His faith was more than a profession. He trusted in the Lord's great power To keep him 'til that final hour.
In sickness Harold did not complain, But affirmed his faith time and again. "When the good Lord wants me, I want you to know. I'm ready and willing and waiting to go!"
Harold's run the race, it's come to an end. We bid farewell to a faithful friend. In another time, in another place, We'll again greet Harold through God's grace.
