Hi:
I am a descendant of Giles White/Sarah Dodd. We had a whirlwind visit to
Whitestown Cemetery, near Garland, Warren Co. PA in June 2004. We took
photos of the Whites & Miles that we could find and of two McGuires. Here
are what we could read from our photos:

Soldier Of The
Revolutionary War
(same stone)
Patience Lyons McGuire
c 1757 - 1825, his wife
(We do not know the connection between the McGuires and the Whites)
According to the book A Genealogy of the Descendants of Giles White and
Sarah Dodd, this Whitestown Cemetery was right across the road from the
first log cabin built by Giles White. There is no sign of a cabin there
now but there is a slight depression that might be a sign of where the
cabin was located.Contributed by Nan and George Wolf for use by the Warren County Genealogy Project (http://www.pa-roots.com/warren/)
