G. W. Morris Rites
Funeral services for George W. Morris, 92,
formerly of Easton, were held this morning at the family plot in
Easton cemetery, with the Rev. L. V. Hetrick, D. D. pastor of
Grace Evangelical Reformed Church, officiating.
Mr. Morris died on Sunday in the Odd Fellows
Home, Middletown, Dauphin County, where he had been a guest for 20
years

Roberson Funeral
The funeral of Mrs. Clara L. Burd Roberson,
71, of 37 South Main Street, Phillipsburg, was conducted this
afternoon with services in the Finegan funeral home,
Phillipsburg. Mrs. Roberson, widow of George Roberson, died
Sunday in Warren Hospital
The Rev. Paul S. Parker, pastor of First
Baptist Church, Phillipsburg, officiated. Interment was in Locust
Grove cemetery, Quakertown, NJ Pallbearers were Lester Toth,
Roland Marshall, Edward Carberry, Thomas Swick, Russell Sutton and
Nelson Becci.

Edmund S. Heimer,
Edmund S. Heimer, well known resident
of Wind Gap, died last night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Francis
Rice, Wind Gap, from general debility, aged 86 years. He is
survived by four nephews and ten nieces. Mr. Heimer was a member
of the Reformed congregation of the Plainfield church and of the
P. O. S. of A., of Wind Gap.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at
the Rice home, with further services at the Plainfield church in
charge of Rev. William. Brong. Interment will be made in the
adjoining cemetery.

John Wesley Wendell
John Wesley Wendell, 65 years old, a
machinist in the compressor department of the Ingersoll-Rand
Company, died at 7:30 this morning at his home, 1809 Lehigh
street, Wilson, after an illness of two weeks.
He was born in Easton on Jan. 31, 1878, a
son of the late John and Lena Lyn Wendell. He worked for the
Ingersoll-Rand company for the past 33 years and was a member of
the Ingersoll Relief Association and the Modern Woodmen of
America.
Mr. Wendell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Emily Herman
Wendell and by three sisters, Mrs. Schuyler Smith, of Passaic,
N. J.; Mrs. Alfred Weber and Mrs. William Gerber, Schenectady,
N. Y.; one brother, Joseph M. Wendell, of Clifton, N.J.

Rites for Mrs. Lippincott

Mary A. Lippincot
Funeral
services for Mrs. Mary A. Lippincott were conducted this afternoon
at her home, 494 Thomas street, by the Rev. Webster K. Reinert,
pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Fairmount
cemetery. Pallbearers were Frederick, Donald, and Ear W. White,
Raymond Mills, Dudley Horn and Edward P. Gallagher.

John Jeffries

John
Jeffries, 83 years old, died this morning at the home of his
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Buzzard, in Milford.
He was a native of Bristol, Pa., and had resided in Milford 35
years.
In addition to his daughter, Mrs. Buzzard,
he is survived by a son, J. Gordon Jeffries, of Pennington; a
brother, Edward Jeffries, of Bristol, PA., eight grandchildren,
and one great-grandchild.

Death
of Infant
Gary C. Beil, infant son of Charles G. and
Helen Huber Beil, died yesterday morning at the home of the
parents, Weaversville R. D. 1, Northampton, aged one month.
Besides the parents, he is survived by three sisters and two
brothers. Funeral services on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the home of
the parents. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Howertown.

Anna Allen
Bethlehem Woman Found Dead In Bed
Mrs.
Anna Allen, 56 years old, of 311 Martin’s Lane, Bethlehem, was
found dead in bed yesterday. Dr. R. S. Rinker, of West Bethlehem,
deputy coroner of Lehigh County, issued a certificate of death
from a heart condition.
Mrs. Allen was a daughter of Jacob and Emma
Hoch Vogenitz and a member of the Pro-Cathedral Church of the
Nativity, Bethlehem. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Laura
Mitchell, of Easton and Mrs. Marian Thomas, of Bethlehem.
Funeral Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Steyers
Home, Bethlehem, Interment in Nisky Hill Cemetery.
