Virginia R. Bachman, 80, of 3568 Bethlehem Road, Bethlehem Township, Pa., died Friday, January 17, in Kirkland Village in Bethlehem.

Born June 26, 1916 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Marshall M.

Washburn and Helen Raub Washburn.

She was a member of Palmer Moravian Church in Palmer Township.

She was a 1932 graduate of Wilson High School.

She was a member of the Northampton Country Club.

She and her husband Walter E. "Bud" Jr., observed their 56th Wedding anniversary in October.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Barbara G. Burcik of Hatfield, Pa., a son, Walter E. III of Stratford, Pa., a sister Marge Minier of Bath and six grandchildren.

Her stepmother, Florence, a brother George, and a sister Lillian Shupp all died earlier.

Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Church, John street and Moravian Ave., Palmer Township.

There will be no calling hours.

Burial will be private in Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township.

The Ashton Funeral Home 14th and Northampton Streets, Easton, is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests memorials to the church, Palmer, P.A. 18045.

Mrs. Margaret U. Stem, 64, Bath R.D. 1, and formerly of South Side, Easton, died yesterday in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.

She attended public schools in Easton and formerly was an employee of the old Stewart Silk Mill, Easton.

Her mother, Mrs. Ellen Werkheiser, died before her.

Her husband, Warren Stem, is her sole survivor.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Katinis Funeral Chapel, Wilson, Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery, Easton.

Warren T. Stem, 80, of 2500 Dove Lane, Bath, died Monday in Easton Hospital. He had been in poor health since October.

Before retiring, he worked as a truck driver for Arrow Carrier Corp., formerly of Phillipsburg, now Allentown, for 45 years.

Born July 29, 1905, in Easton, he was a son of the late John D. and Elizabeth Ann Cory Stem.

Mr. Stem was a past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Forks Township; a life member of the order of Fleas, Easton, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 773.

His wife, the former Margaret Washburn, died in 1975.

Surviving are three sisters, Laura Boyle and Estella Sebring, both of Wilson, and Margaret Young, Laurel Lake, Bartonsville; a brother, Douglass C., of Forks Township, and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Wilson.

Interment will be in

Hay's Cemetery, Easton.

Marjorie H. Minier, 89, of Bethlehem, formerly of Harmony Township, NJ, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007 at HCR Manor Care, Bethlehem.

Born: On September 11, 1918 in Glendon, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Marshall and Helen Raub Washburn.

Personal: Her husband, Worthy Benjamin Minier, passed away in 2002.

She lived at Manor Care since 2001: Prior to that, she lived at Alexandria Manor and Hickory Hills, both of Bath, Pa. She also lived in Washington and Harmony Township.

Marjorie was a florist, working at the former Washington Greenhouse, Washington, NJ, and Holton's Florist, Lopatcong Township. She graduated from Washington High School, Washington, NJ.

Memberships: She was a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church, Harmony, NJ, and the Washington Chapter #136, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors: She is survived by a son, Kenneth A. and his wife Patricia of South West Harbor, Maine; two grandchildren, Erin Ritter and her husband Kirk of South West Harbor, Maine and Coreen Minier of Salem, Or, and four great-grandchildren Christopher, Grace, Jacob, and Emily.

A brother, George Walker, and a sister, Virginia Bachman, both died earlier.

Services: Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Harmony Presbyterian Cemetery, 2727 Belvidere Road, Harmony, NJ. There will be no calling hours.

Worthy Benjamin Minier, 86, of ManorCare Health services, Westgate drive, Bethlehem, formerly of Washington and Harmony Township, died Sunday, April 7, in St. Luke's Hospital.

He was undersheriff for the late Kenneth Gaylor in the Warren County Sheriff's Office in Belvidere, retiring in 1979. Before that, he worked at Port Murray Dairy and king's Lumber., in Washington. He also was a partner at the F&M Supply Co., in Phillipsburg.

Born Aug. 20, 1915, in Blissfield, Mich., he was a son of the late Charles and Mary Reese Minier.

He resided in Washington, Harmony Township, Alexandria Manor and Hickory Hills, Bath, moving to ManorCare in November 2001.

He was a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church.

He served in the Marines during World War II.

He was a member of Mansfield Lodge 36, F&AM in Washington. He sang with the Brothers in Harmony Barbershop Quartet.

He and his wife, the former Marjorie H. Pittenger, observed their 64th wedding anniversary in December.

in addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kenneth A. of South west Harbor, Maine; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, Charles Jr., Clarence and Glenn: and two sisters, Marion Yetter and Geraldine Loar, died earlier.

She was a 1941 graduate of Wilson High School.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Easton.

Her husband, Clarence F. Shupp, died in 1990.

Surviving are a stepson, Clarence F. Shupp Jr. of Cranford, N.J.; a stepdaughter, Shawn Shupp of Long Branch, Calif.; two stepsisters, Virginia Bachman of Easton and Marjorie Minier of Bath; and a companion, A. "Bud" Starner of Newton. A son, Ronald Shupp, died in May.

services will be announced by the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton.
